The Mzaar resort with its 80 kilometers of ski tracks and 42 slopes starts at an altitude 1850 meter and reaches and altitude of 2465 meters at the peak where the skier or climber can enjoy a patchwork of views of the Bekaa valley, Mount Hermon, and the Laklouk and Cedars mountain peaks. On clear days vision extends to Beirut the capital and other coastal towns.
Skiers of all abilities will enjoy the Mzaar slopes. The advanced skier can explore new tracks and challenges, the intermediate skier can enjoy the different tracks offered by the mountain, and the beginning skier will find the lower slopes wide and gentle.
Those looking for activities beyond skiing can benefit from the area’s historic and natural sites such as the stunning 30 meter natural bridge of Kfardebian formed by wind and water erosion, and the ruins of a Phoenician temple and a Roman tower.
