In a wondrous natural setting amidst jagged mountain ridges and tree laden terraces the Laqlouq resort is a joy to visit any season of the year. At an altitude that ranges between 1750 and 2000 meters Laqlouq offers excellent alpine and cross country skiing terrains. The first ski lifts were installed at this picturesque resort in 1958, and it has been continually updated ever since with a reputed ski school and well maintained slopes.

The site of the legendary Afqa cave and the Balaa abyss two masterworks of nature that should not be missed is only a fifteen minute drive away from the resort. Other interesting places to visit in the area are Kornet Saidat Al Qarn at an altitude of 2300 meters, as well as the village of Annaya and the Saint Charbel museum and hermitage.

Directions:

Laklouk’s Resort can be easily reached by taking the main coastal road north to the city of Jbeil, after which you take your right up towards Annaya Mar Charbel’s monastery. On your way up, take your right before the checkpoint to Ihmij Village and you shall reach the Laklouk resort, which is 62Km at distance from the capital, taking you an hour and fifteen minutes to get there.
