Qanat Bakish

The Qanat Bakish ski resort is known for the quality of its snow and the fact that it is one of the least crowded ski resorts in the area. The first ski lift was built in 1967 and the resort has been continuously improving its facilities and slopes to accommodate skiers of all ability levels. A new road that ties the town of Faqra to Qanat Bakish makes the resort more accessible and more convenient for visitors.

Qanat Bakish LebanonHowever a new project is being planned at the resort and the only operational ski lift is the one next to the Snowland hotel.

The old village of Qanat Bakish is one of the best preserved old Lebanese towns, keeping most of its original architecture and green spaces, a hidden treasure worth discovering.
