Faqra Club

The Fakra resort or Faqra Club was established in 1974 as one of the world’s first private ski clubs. The slopes and lifts are all located on a privately owned estate in the Village of Kfardebian in the Central Mountain region of Lebanon.

The Club itself comprises of beautifully designed and built chalets and meticulous landscaping and well cared for gardens.
At the Faqra resort visitors can stay at “l’Auberge de Faqra” a first class hotel offering amenities such as a heated swimming pool, squash and tennis courts, sauna and fitness club.

In addition to the ski activities and the resort’s many luxuries, the Kfarzebian region can also be visited to enjoy some historical and natural sightseeing in the Faqra ruins and the natural stone bridge.

Slopes are open from 8:00am to 3:30pm on weekdays, and from 8:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and holidays.

Lift passes mean passes to the slopes. THye may be purchased as temporary(per day) or permanent for the skiing season.

Directions:

45Km away from Beirut, Faqra Club will appear when you take the coastal main road, take the right after the Dog River tunnel, and keep going straight ahead on the main road past Jeita, Ballouneh, Faytroun, Faraya, and then finally Faqra Club. The place is nearby the Mzaar Kfardebian Resort.
